I’ve been wanting to write a blog for years. I’ve always used the excuse of not having enough time. Well, that was just an excuse. I am committing to blog at least once a week just to update anyone who may be interested.
I became a photographer because I realize how important it is to preserve memories of everyone and everything. I like the fact that I am recording history with every click of my shutter. It may be a two week old infant who will look totally different in a month. Or a couple on their wedding day who will one day share that picture with their grandchildren. It could be a sunset, unlike any other, on that day, at that moment, that no one will ever see again. It could be a luner eclipse, that may not happen again for decades.
I am passionate about my work. I always strive to do my best to capture the unique personality and emotion of my subjects at that moment. I do that by observing and waiting and with very little direction. I have found my photojournalistic approach to capturing my subjects to be conducive to accomplishing this goal.

Darlene Jarrell - Chuck, I thoroughly enjoyed taking your photography class! It has helped me in so many ways! I love photographing my children and nature, thanks to you, my pictures look so much better, rather than shooting in auto! LOL You photographed my daughter when she turned 13, and you captured just who she is! I will be following your blog!
