One thing I wish I could do more of is to take a walk around my neighborhood with my camera in hand and take pictures of interesting things. It seems I am always working and trying to catch up on current projects. Occasionally I will take time to look out my window, or step outside my door and look around.
There is an abundance of life everywhere I look.
I want to encourage you to do this whenever you have some down time. You might accomplish this with a smart-phone camera, sure. But you would have more success with an actual camera, in my opinion.
The point of all this is that you don't have to travel far to observe and enjoy the beauty of nature. It's just outside our door (or window). All of these images were shot from inside my house or steps from my front door. Step outside for some fresh air and look around. Look closely and listen. Bring a camera. Capture it and share it. You may want to use an image as a desktop screen, or send it to a friend.
Also, don't forget to look up to the sky. You never know what you might've missed if you didn't.

Chuck Billiot - Thanks Donna, I'm glad you are enjoying my posts. I will do my best to keep 'em coming. I didn't know how taxing this could be when I challenged myself to do this, but it has been rewarding (and somewhat therapeutic, I must say).
